Wall Street Journal Data Shows Casinos rely on Problem Gamblers – 10% of Gamblers provide 90% of revenue

Wall St Journal study — 2.8% of gamblers provide 50% of casino revenue, 10% provide 90% of revenue. Bars can survive without serving alcoholics. Casinos CANNOT survive without gambling addicts/problem gamblers. Period.

Wall Street Journal Data Shows Gambling relies on Problem Gamblers

We showed similar data in our report to the Surrey City Council back in January 2013 when they decided to just say NO to a South Surrey Casino. Our data was based on University Studies and BC Lottery Corporation’s (BCLC) own reports.
